Hello Mike Frinton,

Thank you for your comment !

In the sentence “J’ai son numéro d’appartement, c’est le trente-six” you can not distinguish the feminine or/ and the masculine form.

If you want to, you must say the first name of the person you are talking about : "j'ai le numéro de l'apaprtement de Julie."

Hope this helps !

Example sentence "J'ai son numéro d'appartement, c'est le trente-six" gets me scratching my head !

Please help by explaining how the sentence distinguishes HER apartment number thirty six from HIS apartment number thirty six ?.

Bonjour Janelle !

La femme s'est rappelé du numéro.

The verb "être" is used because it's a reflective verb here.

"La femme m'a rappelé après deux heures." The woman called me back after two hours.

The meaning is different, it's not reflective, so it's the verb "avoir".

"La femme m'a rappelé le numéro." The woman reminded me the number.

Since it's a pronominal verb here, it's also the verb "avoir".

Hope this helps!

Cheers!

Mélanie
