Maryssa: Can you give us an example using this phrase?

Lesson focus
|
Maryssa: In this lesson, you'll learn about presenting your company. When you’re doing this, one of the first things you might do is talk about how old your company is. For example:
Maryssa: "Our company has been present on the market for 25 years."
Maryssa: "Our company was established 25 years ago."
Aurore: Notre entreprise a été créée en 1950.
Maryssa: "Our company was established in 1950." You can also talk about what kind of company it is.
Aurore: For example: Nous sommes spécialisés dans…
Maryssa: "We specialize in…"
Aurore: Nous nous occupons de...
Maryssa: "We are dealing with…"
Maryssa: "We are the best in the car industry." You might notice that in these sentences, you refer to your company as "we."
Aurore: That’s right. You don’t say "our company."
Maryssa: You can also say how good the company is. For example:
Maryssa: "Delta is a fastly growing company which…"
Maryssa: "In Delta, we care about the quality of our service." Finally, let’s finish this lesson and series with some formal expressions that you can use in a presentation.
Aurore: Merci d’être venu aujourd’hui.
Maryssa: "Thank you for coming today."
Maryssa: "I would like to welcome you on behalf of our company."
Aurore: J’aimerais parler de...
Maryssa: "I would like to talk about…"
Aurore: Montrez-moi votre dernier produit.
Maryssa: "Let me show you our last product…" And to close the presentation, you can say.
Aurore: Merci beaucoup.
Maryssa: "Thank you very much. If anyone has questions, please raise your hand."
Aurore: Merci pour votre attention. Avez-vous des questions ?
Maryssa: "Thank you for your attention. Do you have any questions?"
