That's a good question! Before or after the noun, both positions are possible, but the normal place for an adjective is generally after the noun.

So it's better to say: le mois prochain

I had a question about a point of grammar: the placement of the adjective prochain. I observed it used after the month for the April example above and before month for the May example above. So, should it "le mois prochain" or "le prochain mois"? I would ask you to make a correction if one of these is wrong. Merci.


I do like hearing the correct pronunciation of the French words.
