Let's look at the main dialogue.
Two people are having a conversation.
La prochaine fois, je veux voyager plus léger.
"Next time, I want to travel lighter."
Alors, tu devrais faire une liste avant de remplir la valise.
"Then you should make a list before packing the suitcase."

Bonne idée. Il faut aussi réserver les billets tôt.
"Good idea. You also need to book the tickets early."
Oui, achète‑les deux mois à l'avance.
"Yes, buy them two months in advance."

This dialogue shows three common ways to give advice in French.
Tu devrais followed by an infinitive means "you should," as in tu devrais faire une liste, "you should make a list."
Il faut is used to say something is necessary or important to do, like Il faut aussi réserver les billets tôt. "You also need to book the tickets early."
And the imperative form gives a direct instruction, such as achète-les "buy them"
or compare les prix "compare prices," without using tu.
