This dialogue shows three common ways to give advice in French. |
Tu devrais followed by an infinitive means "you should," as in tu devrais faire une liste, "you should make a list." |
Il faut is used to say something is necessary or important to do, like Il faut aussi réserver les billets tôt. "You also need to book the tickets early." |
And the imperative form gives a direct instruction, such as achète-les "buy them" |
or compare les prix "compare prices," without using tu. |
