No, "lui" is correct here as it is used as an indirect object pronoun.


Lui has two uses:

- Indirect object pronoun, in which case it can be either masculine or feminine

- Stressed pronoun, in which case it is ONLY masculine


Some examples to make it a bit clearer:

Indirect object pronoun: Pierre lui a donnรฉ du pain (Pierre gave him/her some bread)

Stressed pronoun: Elle parle souvent de lui (She often talks about him)
