In this lesson, you'll practice how to ask about the location of a room or a facility.
You'll be challenged to ask about the location of a room or facility.
First, let's look at some examples.
Ah, je suis désolé.
Ne t'inquiète pas.
Tout va bien avec tes vêtements, Corentin ?
Oh, oui, tout va bien.
Où sont les toilettes ?
C'est là.
To ask about a location, say...
Où est... ?
Followed by the singular place, like...
Où est la salle de bain ?
To answer, you can use the location word, such as...
ici
here
there
là-bas
over there

Où est l'ascenseur ?
L'ascenseur est ici.
Où est l'arrêt de bus ?
L'arrêt de bus est là.
Let's practice.
You are in a building and see Mark Lee.
Ask him where the elevator, l'ascenseur, is.
L'ascenseur est ici.
Now, you see Ben Lee.
Ask him where the bus stop, l'arrêt de bus, is.
L'arrêt de bus est là.
