Hmmm...maybe you should take them shopping for French hearing aids.

		<title>Newbie Lesson S2 #4 - How to French Kiss your Best Friend?</title>

<itunes:summary>Wouldn't it be great if we could all just walk around spitting out one-liners like babies? Learning to speak in French...or any other language for that matter, would be a lot less complex. We would no longer have to worry about silly things such as conjugating in French or French pronouns. We could just walk around France, pointing at things, saying, "eat" or "want brown skirt" in French and people would know exactly what we were talking about, right? However, what if we wanted to gossip in French...and you know how we girls love to gossip! I mean, we can't very likely walk around France pointing at the girl wearing the ugly brown skirt can we? And...how in the world would all of those delightful French men tell us how beautiful we are? They couldn't risk the brown-skirted women mistaking a point!
Learning French with FrenchPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn French! <itunes:summary>Your son loves his new school in France! He has adapted to the new French neighborhood very quickly and he has been learning even faster it seems! He is learning French so quickly in fact that it is almost impossible for you to keep up with the little angel. He loves to find French words that you haven't learned yet and use them frequently. Just today, he became very angry with the little French boy next door, stormed through the kitchen, and yelled a whole stream of French words you are not familiar with. You told him he had until you counted to five in French to tell you exactly what was wrong. However, as you start to count in French, your son bursts into tears! He explains that the kids in his French school today made fun of him because he couldn't count in French! He asks how you are going to help him learn to count to twenty in French when you can't even count to five in French correctly! Oh, Mom...he was really counting on you!
Learning French with FrenchPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn French! In this French Newbie lesson, you will learn to count from 10 to 100 in French. We will show you how to count in French and how to pronounce the French numbers. Then we will discuss how to say phone numbers in French and what the numbers in a French phone number mean. French

----Formal English----

The Most Brutal French Sport: Sale Shopping!!

Winter sales. Women have been waiting for this time for several months—Winter Sales!

Sales enable merchants to sell leftover or unsold articles with a high discount. There are two sales periods that are authorized in France: three weeks in June, and three weeks in January. Winter sales correspond to the second authorized period.

I don’t know if you have already seen videos of certain French women waiting in line for the store’s opening on the first day of sales, however, it is quite scary. They push each other to enter first and take the best clothes.
Many people will shop a few days prior to the sales period in order to see the clothes in which they might be interested. However, often times what happens to me is that I am not able to find the product again that I found before the sales.

There is what they call the first rebate during the first week of a relatively low price reduction, a second rebate the second week and a last rebate of up to seventy percent for the last week of a price reduction. However, often there isn’t anything much left at this moment.
Personally, I don’t like to shop for sales because there are always many people in the stores, but sometimes I still go look around because it’s true that the prices can be very interesting.

Sales are especially popular for clothing, but the ones who don’t need clothes will also find price reductions on all sorts of products. So if you are in France at this time and you are ready to confront the crowd...don’t hesitate to go shopping!

Do you have any sales in your country? Are the prices interesting?
