Learn French with FrenchPod101.com! You mutter to yourself in French, “Another one bites the dust!” Your neighbor pops her head over the fence and asks you in French, “What are you talking about?” You explain in French, “My black thumb is at it again…I just killed another tomato plant. I swear, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I water every day and it gets plenty of sunlight.” Your friend replies in French, “Well, watering every day is part of the problem. Tomatoes need water, but they don’t need to be drowned. If you buy a new plant, I’ll help you take care of it.” You respond in French, “Thank you, but if it’s all the same, I’ll just buy some tomatoes from the market, or better yet, I’ll steal some from your garden. Your plants look amazing!”
