I’ll be interested to see where you go with this lesson further on in the program. I feel that this is the most important lesson to learn. If one truly understands the pronunciation of the french letters, so much of what appears to be mysterious in reading and writing in French, becomes clear. On verra!

This lesson is titled “All About”….”the french writing system.” Hummm…it should be titled, “A mini overview of the french writing system which will scare and confuse the beginner about accents…and the pronunciation of the alphabet will be included.” I really hope you follow this up, if you truly want to teach one to speak French.

I’m still a beginner with French writing. I find it difficult because so many words aren’t spelled the way they are pronounced. But I’m slowly getting there!
