Pas nécessairement. Mais, il l'améliorerait.

Leo Rosten a dit:

"L'argent ne peut pas acheter le bonheur, mais la pauvreté non plus"

Ture Agagooga.
My thought is who knows by looking at me if I have 10, 100 or 100 euros on me ?
As long as I don t act like I have a lot of cash on me or show when opening my wallet that there are a bunch of bills in it.

I keep most of it in different places when traveling.

How do you do it ?

Well ATM are easy and convenient, but if you are in a foreign country they also apply HUGE commissions. So I prefer to exchange my money before the trip, so I have better control of the commission I pay and what I spent once there !
Je suis radine ! I'm cheap!

But what if the ATM is broken and eats your card without giving you any money? Myself, I wouldn't like to be in a foreing country with no card, no money and a knowledge of the language that is less than good ... especially if it's weekend!

Withdrawing money from the ATM is definitely the way to go. ATMs are so ubiquitous now that there really isn't much reason to exchange money in advance, unless you are in some far-flung, rural outpost with no ATM access...

Do you prefer to exchange money, or take it out of the ATM when you arrive? Or is a mixed strategy the best one?
