When you take a trip, do you prefer to make reservations ahead of time, or do you like to find a hotel once you arrive?

Moi, je fais une réservation autant que possible, même pour jouer au golf. Je n’ai pas beaucoup de patience et je n’aime pas attendre longtemps. Aprés tout, je suis New Yorkais!

Je préfère faire une réservation - je ne voudrais pas se coucher dans les rues !

Moi j’aime bien l’aventure et reserver au dernier moment…mais bon je calcule quand même mon coup. Si il y a une convention dans la ville je reserve bien en avance.

Bonne question ! “Mon coup” est originairement utilisé dans les jeux de stratégie. Cette expression se réfère à la prise de decision strategique aux jeu de réflexion comme aux échcecs.
Si tu joues bien, tu as fait un bon coup.
Par extension lorsque tu réfléchis pour prendre une bonne décision en ta faveur tu peux dire:
Je calcule mon coup. = Je réfléchis pour prendre la meilleure décision.

Il faut dire que ces accents à ajouter c’est “la prise de tête”, en un mot: un vrai casse-tête chinois quand on n’a pas de clavier français !!!
