Is it my imagination, or the speaker keeps mispronouncing prochain in “le prochain arrêt”? It sounds like “prochaine” most of the time, but arrêt is maculine, isn’t it? :???:

Actually what happens here the 2 words are mashed and pronounced together!
So to your ear “prochain” seemed to have an “e”.

Le prochain arrêt => pronounced together it is [pro-sh-huh /naray]

Hopefully that makes sense to you!
