Je t’aime le Doctor Pepper.
Et merci beaucoup à Silvain pour le intro. The English wasn’t perfect, but the sentiment was. *wipes away a tear*
Quest-ce “quel que chose”? I don’t think Sam, Sylvain et Celine went over it.
Hi Maxiwawa
Huh Dr Pepper not my favorite flavor! I think it’s one of those drinks you either love or hate. Well I don’t love it!
“Quelque chose” means something/anything
For example:
A - Tu veux quelque chose à manger? = Do you want something to eat?
B - Non j’ai déjà mangé! No I already ate.
And you? Do you want something to eat?
Un croissant? ( ok I’m not translating this one….! Too easy!
)
Un steak charolais de Bourgogne? (a steak charolais* from the region “Bourgogne*”?)
*Charolais is a type of cow breed for it’s high, super tender meat! It is also a village between Dijon and Lyon in the region of “Bourgogne” located south-East of Paris.
Moi, je bois du vin ou de l’eau pour le dejeuner, mais les vendredi j’aime un cidre >.
Desole Maxiwawa, mais je deteste Dr. Pepper aussi.
I totally had to look up the etymology of ‘french fries’ and according to Wikipedia (which is never wrong of course), it refers to the method of cooking, deep frying or sautee.
Now I want a Strongbow…early.
C’est la vie!
Merci pour the explanation!
Je’t aime le frites Belgique.
Ahahah les frites c’est bon! mais huileuses c’est horrible!
Et puis pour la santé c’est pas super!
My mother told me once she was donating her blood when the following scene happened:
The next person blood bag was filing with a layer of yellowish liquid. The nurse asked the patient “did you eat fries earlier?”. Surely enough the response was affirmative.
Gross no?
- Oops, don’t feel that well….
I still eat fries though!
(but not as often)
Angèle, I saw a t.v. show where they did the same thing with hamburgers…the yellowish liquid. Pretty scarey, non?
I like sweet potato fries cooked in the oven…mmmm.
Hey Jacqueline M
Jacqueline M sounds like an enemy of James Bond 007!
Yes quite scary!!!!
Now let’s reverse the question:
What do you hate as foods?
