Listen to all the world’s music in one place, on the same day, completely free in France! Musicians of all types gather on this day to play on the streets of France, at venues, at bars, at night clubs. Professional French musicians, amateur musicians, and also up and coming French bands, all take part in this free spirited day of music and festivities in France! In our very first culture class, we’re going to talk about World Music Day in France, and also the spirit of music in France as well. Remember to listen in to this lesson and learn French while learning about French culture at FrenchPod101.com!

J’y étais (I was there)….I’m in France right now, and World Music Day was audible from my bedroom window all night

I haven’t been participating much here because of adjusting to the time difference, but I think I’m ok now

Yeh, jet lag is a terrible thing! But hey do you know how to say it in French?
It is ” décalage horaire”! Very useful word for all the plane travelers. Good luck and good adjustment!
