The last concert I went to was the one from Manu Chao.
He sings in English, French and Spanish. Love it!
What was the last concert you went to?
Angele
I went to a jazz band the other day. It was awesome!
Today’s ArabicPod101.com lesson mentions la langue de la amour (French!) in great detail. A large part of the Arabic speaking world speaks French as a second language. I didn’t know.
Salaamu Alaykum!
Mon dieu! Today’s KoreanClass101.com lesson is “Bon Voyage!”
French is everywhere!
Alaykum Salaam Maxiewawa,
Oui, French is everywhere
Le dernier concert ? c’etait Maroon 5 (not really French) et Raul Midon (even less
). Raul Midon, c’etait magique !
Max, it’s true, French is everywhere! I guess that means…love is everywhere?
For a unique style of French/Arabic entertainment, listen to Rachid Taha, an Algerian singer. My favorite song of his is “El H’mame”. It’s a cover of a traditional song. I think he kind of looks like my husband. My husband can’t stand him though
Love is in the air! Oh oh je suis supposée….
A +
PS : merci Laetitia !
Yes, we have to admit : French is a beautiful language ! We can curse in French or say unpleasant things but it is still beautiful. I totally agree with you Angele. Its once you are far from home that you realize the beauty of the language and the culture diversity. I think it is the same for all countries.
PS: Thanks Laetitia !
